Demdi Mars (Diana Demi Marszewska) – world music vocalist and oriental dancer from Poland with Indian, Turkish and Balkan roots. Raised in a multicultural environment in Krakow and Okinawa, started performing in 2000 at the age of 10. She sings popular and classical Arabic music, as well as Indian and Japanese songs. Trained in Bharatanatyam and Bollywood dances, and then in belly dance. She performed in Poland, Egypt, Morocco, Japan, and Iceland where she lives since 2016. Energetic, always smiling and full of challenging ideas – she, for example, started learning to play the violin at the age of 29, which she is documenting on her YouTube channel. She has a master’s degree in natural sciences and by profession she is a tour guide promoting Iceland from a geological point of view.
